Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson give three interviews, press junkets on November 1, upcoming schedule (videos)

This article was originally published on my Relationships Advice column on here. It was written by me, Charisse Van Horn

On November 1, 2012, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson held multiple press junkets and gave three, interviews along with co-star Taylor Lautner. During the day’s events, the couple spoke about the conclusion of the “Twilight Saga” and their roles in “Breaking Dawn Part 2” and though they didn’t specifically address their current relationship status, they did confirm their Halloween costumed date. Stewart also addressed Summit’s decision to have them attend the press junkets separately rather than together and told MTV’s Josh Horowitz she preferred the joint, press conferences.
With the recent interviews as well as the busy fortnight ahead, there will be plenty of opportunities to observe Stewart and Pattinson together.

MTV First not First Joint Interview for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Though November 1, 2012 started on a busy schedule for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, as the couple began their day by attending L.A. press junkets separately, the couple soon joined Taylor Lautner for an Access Hollywood interview and a sit down with Entertainment Tonight. We can only imagine these two outlets are a little peeved at MTV getting the credit for landing the first joint-interview with the couple, as their interview did not begin live until 8 p.m. The previous Entertainment Tonight interview with Nancy O’Dell was in fact the first joint interview.

During the interviews, we had a chance to observer Stewart’s and Pattinson’s mannerisms, body language and interactions with each other, as well as with Taylor Lautner. While there were times of closeness between Stewart and Lautner, it was clear that she gave Pattinson her undivided attention. Many times throughout all the interviews (Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight and MTV), Stewart would look towards Pattinson longingly.

Pattinson often turned his attention towards Stewart as well. It appears that it is quite simple for these two to block out others around them and focus solely on each other.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Attend Four Days of Press Junkets

Today marked the second day of L.A. based press junkets for Stewart and Pattinson and we’ll soon have the video and transcripts for you. You may see video and transcripts from yesterday’s press junkets for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart here. Interestingly, Summit Entertainment chose to have Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner (as well as other “Breaking Dawn” cast members” address their press junkets separately. Stewart referred to this during her “MTV First” interview with Josh Horowitz and indicated she preferred the joint interviews better.

During the November 1, 2012 press junket, Stewart was asked if she saved any trinkets or props from the “Twilight Saga.” She replied, “I kept the rings.” She explained that she isn’t very materialistic and the film didn’t have a large amount of props to begin with.

We find the choice to keep the rings an excellent one. Bella’s rings caused a huge sensation with fans and sparked jewelers to create similar styled engagement and wedding rings for Twihards who wanted to keep the romance alive. According to a People Magazine report, Stewart at least kept Bella’s moonstone ring and Edward’s engagement ring.

Stewart completely understands the film’s draw and appeal with viewers as well. When asked if she had thought the saga would become the cultural sensation it is she answered, “This thing is romantic. It's what is attractive about it.”

We must point out that “this thing” that is romantic about “Twilight” is Stewart’s and Pattinson’s on-screen chemistry as Bella and Edward.

Maybe that is why fans worldwide find it even more romantic that they carried that love and romance off-screen as well.

Stewart and Pattinson are not the first Hollywood couple to have fallen in love while working together. In fact, the number of celebrities who continue their love off-screen is rather staggering. Just as work place relationships are common with the general public, they are phenomenally commonplace in Hollywood. Not all of these relationships are doomed to failure.

At this point, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting some serious years behind them and Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman may be one of Hollywood’s most respected couples. The couple was married from 1958 until Newman’s death in 2008. Dan Aykroyd and his beautiful wife Donna Dixon (Bosom Buddies) met while filming “Doctor Detroit.” The couple has been married since 1983. “Modern Family’s” Ed O’Neil most likely didn’t know that when Catherine Rusoff appeared on two episodes of “Married with Children” they’d spend the next several decades together. The couple has been married since 1986.

Though Stewart and Pattinson were relatively young when they met, their relationship isn’t necessarily doomed simply because they are both Hollywood celebrities.

Stay tuned, as we’ll have more news on these lovebirds and insights from the remaining press junket schedule and upcoming interviews.
