Kristen Stewart in Focus, Ben Affleck drops out (videos)

On Dec. 19, 2012, Variety reported that Ben Affleck has dropped out of the new film Focus in which he was to co-star with “Twilight” actress Kristen Stewart. According to Variety, Affleck left the film due to scheduling conflicts and was reportedly excited about the script and working with Stewart.

Stewart has just confirmed she will star in the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, Affleck is enjoying a great deal of award-show buzz for his work on the film Argo. Argo has been nominated for five Golden Globes, making it a likely contender for an Oscar.

Meanwhile, Affleck is also working on a new film “Live by Night” and Stephen King’s “The Stand” as well as a project with good friend Matt Damon about Whitey Bulgur.

While Kristen Stewart has confirmed she will reprise her role in Snow White and the Huntsman, she has not dropped out of Focus. Warner Brothers is now looking for an actor to take the lead role alongside Stewart.
