Kristen Stewart wants to take a break from acting, focus on other art forms (VIDEO)

Kristen Stewart is one of Hollywood's most famous child actresses. While she may have been caught in a cheating scandal, she hasn't succumbed to many of the pitfalls common to child actors. But now, Stewart revealed in an interview with USA Today, that she would like to take a break from acting and focus on other forms of art.

It's unclear whether Stewart is referring to writing (like her mother), directing or dabbling in fine arts, such as sculpture or painting, etc. Whatever the form, we're excited to see where this new decision takes Stewart. She has plenty of films to carry us through 2015, and of course, with Stewart's track record, we can never rule out that a break may be short lived.

Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore get Oscar buzz

Stewart is getting rave reviews for "Still Alice" and some rumors suggest she may get an Oscar nomination for her role.

While we aren't in the "business," it's clear that something as huge as an Oscar nomination can quickly change an actor's career choices.

Look at Matthew McConaughey, he has taken so many varying roles but as soon as he won that Oscar, you could see that he began dropping out of projects and taking more "meatier" roles. (Yes, there are "meatier" roles than "Magic Mike.")

Should Stewart get an Oscar nomination or even an Oscar win, who knows what the future will hold. There would be an excellent chance, however, that talk of a break from movies may be pushed to the wayside indefinitely.

What do you think? Would you be disappointed if Stewart took a break from acting?
